Pascha Bay Blue village lies directly on the beach 10 km west of Alanya. I was recently there in my role with Nepo Kitchen Consulting as Food & Beverage support: It was my first reconnaissance visit at a blue village property, luckily it won't be my last what a great holiday resort.

Pascha bay resort is a traditional Scandinavian targeted all inclusive charter destination. Pascha Bay  features big pools, a buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. All buffet meals feature local Turkish dishes, world & Scandinavian favourites as well as weekly theme nights, an a la carte restaurant and a Turkish themed Tavern by the Sea. We ate al fresco at the Tavern, I just love the food from the eastern Mediterranean, it so suits the climate who'd want to eat something else in Turkey.

The resort also features big family rooms, with air conditioning, internet and all modern facilities, my room had a little kitchenette, if one was so inclined.

The mercury rose to 40 degrees while we were there I was so envious of all the guests enjoying their holidays.

A quick visit to Blue Village Atlantica Aegean Park in Kolymbia on the Greek island of Rhodes

even though it is the middle of September and approaching Autumn, "in Sweden anyway" the weather was fantastic over 30 every day and comfortably warm both early in the morning and late at night.

The resort features a central pool area, great gardens and walkways around the central area, with restaurants, snack bars and bars scattered throughout.

There's a pebbly beach with fantastic clear water thats  great for snorkelling, I didn't get a chance for a swim, but I'm sure is was as warm as it looked.

Blue Village Atlantica Club Marmari Beach Resort.

Marmari Beach Resort consists of bungalows, pools and restaurants. Beach access is linked together with gardens and pathways full of flowering bougainvillea and hibiscus.

My room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the resort, and as Mai Khao Lak resort is only two years old the rooms feature all the mod cons and then some.

Thailand

A quick trip down to Merlin beach resort in Phuket, Merlin Beach resort is about 30 years old, great to see its architecture and design that give it a traditional Thai feel, this feel was also present in the rooms. Comfortable and relaxing.

The beach at high tide, its a bit rocky at low tide so take your snorkel and goggles, or take a short tuk-tuk down to Phuket main beach. Merlin Beach boasts three lush tropical pools that wind their way through the resort many guests stay here for their entire holiday.
